Comments on Scuba Diving Computer – What’s the Best Dive Computer?

The Sol. It’s infinitly programmable, and does everything but cook you dinner. BUT! The price is a wee bit hard to swallow for recreational divers. The MSRP is US $2000. If you plan on moving into the technical diving side of Scuba, you couldn’t get a better setup.
That said, look for a computer that has a user changable battery, and is Nitrox compatable. Even if you have not taken the class, you may at some point in the future.

I prefer a wrist mount, vs. a console mount.
