I got my fiance an engraved compass as a wedding gift. He loves the outdoors, but never knows what way is north or south… so i thought a compass would be perfect! I had it engraved “Two Hearts. One Journey. 1.11.2009″ (the date of our wedding). I can’t wait to give it to him!

This has nothing to do with fishing and scuba diving, but I’m getting my fiance a keepsake box to keep all his meaningful stuff in. Like, he likes to save little trinkets from our excusions together, movie ticket stubs, etc., and he’s always complaining about how he has no place to put them all. Inside, I’m putting the coaster I saved from our first date and a nice note.

It’s not by any means expensive, but it’s perfect for him. I would rather get something meaningful over something that’s more materialistic on my wedding day.

make him a “coupon” for a “free weekend fishing with the boys” as just something cute, and then you can him a portable gps system since he likes being outdoors/a nice engraved pocket knife, a nice pair of new sunglasses or scuba goggles, guys like almost anything you get them. They just dont always react like us girls which makes us think they dont like the gift. But dont over think it!

What about really cute cufflinks? Something that is more his taste to his hobbies? They might have fishing themed cufflinks, or even scuba cufflinks.
